Each 60ml GO Nitrate Shot provides 500mg of dietary nitrate, the evidence-based dose commonly used to support endurance performance. Unlike many nitrate supplements that rely on beetroot juice, SIS uses a blend of rhubarb juice concentrate and Amaranthus leaf extract to deliver a high-strength nitrate source with a cleaner taste.
Once consumed, nitrates are converted into nitrite and then nitric oxide within the body. Nitric oxide helps improve blood flow, supports muscle efficiency and reduces the oxygen cost of exercise. Research suggests nitrate supplementation may improve power output, exercise economy and time trial performance, particularly during endurance events lasting up to around 40 minutes.

Consume one 60ml GO Nitrate Shot (500mg nitrate) 2–2.5 hours before exercise. For nitrate loading ahead of competition, consume upwards of 1000mg per day for 3–7 days prior to race day. For events lasting longer than 40 minutes, a further 500mg can be consumed during exercise to help maintain plasma nitrite levels.
