Jake Birtwhistle

A former runner from Tasmania, transitioned to triathlon at 17 and has achieved significant success, including titles such as WTCS Leeds & Hamburg Champion and a Silver Medal at the 2018 Commonwealth Games. Jake is currently ranked 5th in the IRONMAN Pro Series, indicating his strong potential for the upcoming season.

Natalie Van Coevorden

Lauren Parker

Lauren is a professional para-athlete currently representing Australia in both Para-Triathlon and Para-Cycling. She is currently a 4x world champion in Para-Triathlon, World Champion in the para-cycling time trial event, 70.3 and Ironman world champion in the handcycle category. Lauren’s goal for 2025 is the qualify for the Winter Paralympics.

Brendan Johnston

Go-to fuel: Carbs Fuel

Brendan “Trekky” Johnston is an Australian professional cyclist competing in gravel, road, and mountain bike racing. In 2025, he won RADL GRVL and UCI Gravel World Series events Devil's Cardigan and Gravelista, finished third at the Gravel National Championships, and placed top-five at Sea Otter Lifetime and Unbound Gravel. Originally from Canberra, he now spends much of his time in the US.

Grace Thek is an Australian long course triathlete from Melbourne. 2025 has been a big year for Grace as she made her long-course triathlon debut at Challenge Roth, finishing 2nd, while also competing globally on the T100 tour.

Mike Phillips

Mike has established himself as one of the top athletes in long-distance triathlon, securing multiple championships in both Ironman and 70.3 events. Incredibly he has won the prestigious Ironman New Zealand three times with his latest victory in 2025. He continues to push the boundaries of athleticism, making a lasting impact.

Mitch Kibby

Mitch began pursuing triathlon in 2007 and is now in his 14th season of pro racing, with 7 ironman podium finishes to his name and multiple top performances at the Ironman 70.3 World Championships. He has claimed titles like Australian Open Olympic Distance Champion and Gatorade Triathlon Series Champion. Mitch has built a reputation for his positive attitude, determination, and consistent pursuit of personal bests throughout his career.

Matt is a professional Australian triathlete and one of the country’s top long-distance competitors, with multiple IRONMAN and IRONMAN 70.3 titles to his name. Known for his strength on the bike and mental resilience, Matt has claimed victories at IRONMAN Western Australia and the 2024 IRONMAN Asia-Pacific Championship in Cairns.

Regan Hollioake

Regan is a rising star in long-course triathlon, with three IRONMAN wins since turning pro. She came onto the scene with a sub-9 hour, 4th place finish at her pro debut in IRONMAN New Zealand, after setting the amateur IRONMAN world’s best time of 8:52:51.

Josh is an Australian long-course triathlete who is rapidly establishing himself on the international stage. Highlights from his 2025 season include a dominant wire-to-wire victory in Lapu-Lapu, as well as a strong second-place finish at the Sunshine Coast 70.3.

Steve Mckenna

Steve started swimming and cycling in 2015 at the age of 23 and turned professional just a year later. He has since established himself as a consistent podium contender and has won multiple Ironman and Ironman 70.3 championships.

Kate Avery

Kate Avery represented Great Britain at indoor track, outdoor track and in cross country championships before transitioning to mountain & trail running. In 2024 Kate topped the podium five times including wins at UTMB races UTK50 & UTA50 and placed second in the Tarawera 50km in NZ. In 2025 Kate not only continued to win local trail races but also welcomed her first child, Margot.

Michael Dunstan

Michael Dunstan has turned his hands to many things, including music and trail running. Michael has taken the win at the inaugural GPT100 mile race in Australia, Third place at Ultra Trail Snowdonia in Wales, a win at the Hounslow Classic Marathon. Now based in the Blue Mountains, NSW, Michael is working hard at some lofty goals for 2025.

Bailey Tuddeham

At just 19 years old, Bailey made his professional debut at the 70.3 Port Macquarie, already with an overall win at 70.3 Taupo and a World Championship title in the U19 Olympic Distance category in Spain under his belt. Tara Sosinski

Tara is an elite Australian short-course triathlete and a dedicated member of the Triathlon Australia High Performance System, currently categorised as an athlete on the Gold Coast. Katie Remond

Katie grew up on property on the Central Coast and began her triathlon journey as part of the inaugural 2XU Rookies team. She completed her first IRONMAN at Cairns in 2021 and quickly made her mark, placing second in her first three races as an age-group athlete. Her performances earned her a coveted slot at the IRONMAN World Championship, and she has since progressed to competing in the professional field.

Matilda Raynolds

Matilda is a decorated cyclist with wins across Australia, the USA, New Zealand, and the Netherlands. After racing with Team Bridgelane and representing Australia, she’s now focused on major gravel events. With adventures like cycling to Everest Base Camp and the Silk Road, she’s passionate about local racing, mentoring young riders, and bringing energy and fun to the sport as a rising voice in women’s cycling. Off the bike, she surfs, runs, and battles her sourdough starter.

Ryan Miller

Finishing with a top 10 placing at his first ever Ironman Australia, Ryan showcased his natural talent in the sport. He then went on to achieve two Age Group podium finishes at the Ironman World Championships and two Asia Pacific Overall Age Group Championships in both the 70.3 and Full Ironman categories. Ryan continues to be a formidable force!

Meet Jay Stevens

He Conquered: Bondi to Manly Ultra

After being paralysed in a helicopter crash, Jay Stevens was told he would never walk again. But the father of two from Sydney’s Northern Beaches refused to accept that fate.

He's now the first paraplegic to complete an Ultra Marathon at the Bondi to Manly 80km Ultra. He started early Wednesday 22nd October and crossed the finish line with his wife and children on Saturday morning. We couldn't be prouder of Jay - he's a true inspiration and all-round legend.
