The innovative CORE sensor technology is integrated into a compact, waterproof unit designed for comfort during sports activities, work, or everyday use. With a rechargeable battery, it offers up to 6 days of continuous transmission or up to 6 weeks in sleep mode, with a USB charging cable included. This sensor allows users to track core body temperature in relation to performance metrics, helping to optimise training and recovery.
The CORE app is available for both iOS and Android devices, and the sensor is compatible with most Garmin watches, cycling computers, and select COROS devices. Additionally, the premium version of Training Peaks is supported. While functionality with Apple and WearOS watches is still limited, improvements are being made. For the most accurate data during sports activities, pairing the CORE sensor with a heart rate monitor is recommended, as it helps the sensor more precisely convert heat flux measurements into core body temperature. The CORE sensor measures both core body temperature and skin temperature, with live data displayed on the CORE app and compatible devices. The app, along with certain Garmin devices, also provides a real-time Heat Strain Index, allowing users to monitor the heat stress their body is experiencing.
